KL9 Construction was founded by San Diego resident, Keith Lazerson, in 1986. While going to UCSD, Keith worked part time as a carpenter building decks, porches, overhangs, fences, and doing odd jobs. Shortly after graduating UCSD with a degree in Urban Studies, Keith received his California state contractor's license. Keith's first projects included kitchens, bathrooms, and renovating three older homes in Kensington. Now, 20 years later, KL9 Construction has blossomed into a successful residential remodeling business.
Keith has developed solid, lasting relationships with his workers and a select group of San Diego subcontractors. The current company is now comprised of a group of dedicated individuals who help each other to develop, plan, and execute each job, resulting in a seamless transition from one trade to the next as each project moves forward.
